Why We’re Building This Playground

The Kiwanis Club’s current Playground and Splash Pad project is aimed at enhancing community life and providing safe, enriching opportunities for local youth.

We believe that every child deserves a place to laugh, learn, and grow through play, regardless of age or ability.

This playground and splash pad will:

  • Strengthen our community by creating a gathering place for everyone
  • Encourage healthy physical activity
  • Support social development and imaginative play
  • Provide an ADA-accessible space welcoming to children of all abilities

Project Overview

The new playground is planned for Hodag Park. The design includes modern, accessible equipment for kids of all abilities. The Splash Pad is planned for completion this Summer! The Playground will be planned once fundraising goals are met.
